AS800 Tube Sorter is an automated system to load and sort blood collection tubes by LIS or HIS order. It improves the workflow in the clinical laboratories, particularly in the pre-analytical phase in the enterance area and it allows laboratory staff to make their time more efficient and concentrate on their main tasks

The blood testing process or the Total Testing Process, is divided into 3 phases – Preanalytical, Analytical and Postanalytical.

A tedious phase, the preanalytical phase is considered as the most error prone part of the Total Testing Process. Although all three phases are prone to errors, it is the preanalytical phase that accounts for 46% to 68% of errors during the Total Testing Process. AS800 Automated Tube Sorter improves patient and sample safety in the preanalytical phase.

General Properties

*User friendly simple operation.

*Small and desktop model for effectineness.

*High Tube Loading Capacity with up to 800 tubes. Up to 250 tubes per each target bin.

*Any cylindrical tube with a length of 76-120mm and diameter of 8-19mm are easily handled by machine.

*Up to 2500 tubes/hour throughput.

*Continuous flow. More tubes may be loaded at any time without stopping the device.

*Sample determination based on tube color (optional) and/or barcode information and/or LIS rules.

*Defined tubes are transported by a conveyor and the directed to the target drawer with the help of Gates. Unidentified tubes are collected in the box at the end of conveyor.
